This
'contemporary' range has been specially designed to give a more 'creative
edge' to our calligraphy handmade wedding stationery. The extensive range includes

produced by award-winning father and daughter team Rebecca and Peter
Kitchin who work from their studios located in the mountains of Snowdonia,

easiest way to order your wedding stationery.
Because
of the complexity and sensitivity of designing and producing wedding stationery,
a vast majority of clients prefer to not to use the "BUY NOW" buttons but
discuss their requirements by 'phone and e-mail. Usually your design work is
submitted by jpegs attached to emails. Payment is usually via cheque but you can
always use the "BUY NOW" buttons if you prefer. Peter and Rebecca will never
print before gaining your total approval.

The
use of exquisitely formed calligraphy for wedding invitations by Calligraphy Wedding
Stationery
follows an art-form developed over thousands of years. This rich tradition has its roots in Egypt around 3500
BC, then the Phoenician
civilisation around 1000 BC, and later in Italy for the Romans to develop
their Latin language. The word 'calligraphy' is derived from the Greek
words 'kallos' (beautiful) and 'graphos' (writing).
To follow in the Greek tradition of writing on 'papyrus' paper, and
to give an
amazingly authoritative tactile feel, all the Calligraphy Wedding
Stationery in this series are hand-printed on specially coated card.

The

supplied free. Obsession with detail has
 become
the hallmark of Celtic Wedding Invitations including the development of 'illuminated capitals' in
exactly the same way medieval monks did hundreds of years ago.
Who are the artists
behind the images?
All
the wedding invitations design work, illustration and calligraphy is produced by award-winning
father and daughter team Rebecca and Peter Kitchin who work from their
studios located in the mountains of Snowdonia, Wales, UK.
Rebecca is a recent graduate with a 1:1 Hons Degree in Illustration and
has already completed many major commissions for 'blue chip' companies including Debenhams and Trent Water plc as well as working on her new
greeting/wedding card business. At only fifteen years old Peter was one of
the youngest candidates ever to be accepted on a degree course. He progressed to become Creative Group Head for Saatchi & Saatchi, developed
his own highly successful advertising businesses and lectured illustration
and fine art. His professional awards include 'Marketing Award of the
Year' and three D&AD Awards (art and design equivalent of the BAFTA
Awards) for excellence of lecturing. Like Rebecca, currently most of his working day is consumed
by the new business and painting.
How do I order
and how safe is it?
 Easy as ABC! Just select the theme you wish carry through all your
calligraphy wedding invitations. Within each 'theme', you will find different applications from
Invitations to Menus. Just click on the relevant 'Paypal' basket to order
the required number. *Important! If you don't have a Paypal account don't
worry! Click on the "Add to Basket" anyway and you will be asked for your

you have ordered the correct number, just complete the

to give all the details necessary for the artists to proceed with initial design work,
proofing, and printing.
Because of the huge
amount of work involved in totally customising the cards we ask you to
make a minimum initial order of £50. The complete range of

the exact design/colour I am
looking for !
Don't worry, we are quite used to clients asking us
to colour coordinate their wedding stationery to match dress fabric,
flowers or table linen. If you require, for instance, a flower
illustration in a particular shade of pink just ask and we will send you
a copy of your customised illustration for approval and verify colour
match. Normally there is no additional charge for this, just e-mail your
requirements.
 Can I
order samples and will I receive 'proofs' to check?
Yes and Yes! Every endeavour will be
made to make your wedding day as stress-free as possible - leaving you to
enjoy the more important things! To order your handmade calligraphy-style
wedding stationery sample just click on the Sample Order Paypal facility
on every product page or just click on the
Sample Ordering Page. Please note, owing to the high costs involved we
must charge for samples as follows: to any address in UK £2.00 each; to
any address outside UK £3.00. The sample that we post to you of your handmade
wedding stationery will be the 'Wedding Day Invitation'. After you have
ordered, proofs of all
designs will be sent to you prior to printing to make sure you are totally
satisfied, and the finished stationery will be delivered 2/3 weeks
